Surge is the youth section of our Summerfest Program. The flyer below should give you all the information you need for Surge in January 2012.
Crux
Crux is the youth group at Northern Lakes. It is for those in years 6-9 at school. We get together on Friday nights during the school term from 6:30pm-8:15pm in Gorokan. We hear from the Bible, pray, play games, and eat some food together. A few times each term we head out somewhere different for a bit of fun (e.g. laser tag, ten pin bowling). Crux costs $2 each week.
For Parents
Crux is run by experienced youth group leaders who have done child protection training and adhere to the Northern Lakes child protection policies. It is a great chance for your kids to hear the Bible’s teaching on life and God on a weekly basis, as well as giving them the opportunity to make new friends and have some fun in a safe environment.

Youth Church
Youth Church is for youth in school years 6-9. It runs on Sunday mornings at the same time as the sermon. Youth come to church and participate with everyone else. When the sermon is to be preached, they head off to be taught in an age appropriate way. During school holidays, the Youth stay in church and listen in sermons, to help them transition to Church as they get older. For more info speak to Connan.
