Fellowship of Independant Evangelical Churches

Northern Lakes Evangelical Church is an independant church.  We also have an informal relationship with several other Independant Evangelical Churches that have been started around Australia.  These churches are part of the Fellowship of Independant Evangelical Churches (FIEC).

Ministry Training Strategy (MTS)

MTS is a simple strategy for recruiting and training ministry apprentices in practical ministry before they enter formal theological education.  It gives the opportunity for men and women to try full time ministry to see if they are the right type of person to be doing it full time. It also allows men and women to be trained while they are giving full time minstry a go. If someone decides to go back to 'secular' work or go into theological education, both are good outcomes.

MTS has proven a consistant and reliable strategy for raising up able gospel workers in many denominations worldwide over the last 27 years.
