Newcomers

Introduction

The Northern Lakes Evangelical Church meets together at 9.30am each Sunday at Gorokan High School Auditorium, Goobarabah Ave, Gorokan. The high school is right next to the Lake Haven Shopping Centre. Once you have driven through the front gates of the school, there is a parking area close to the hall. For more detailed directions on how to find us please see "Where do we Meet".

Our meetings are filled with people of all ages and stages of life. We also have a strong children's ministry. During our Sunday meetings children start off in the hall with the whole church family. Children are then invited to leave the hall and join in on the Kids Church program (Sunday School). The teaching programs are lead by experienced teachers, who are committed Christians with a heart for children’s ministry.

Several nights during the week we have Growth Groups (bible study groups) where we meet together in church member's homes. There is also a women's group that meets together on Thursday, where a creche is available. In these groups we look at God's Word - the bible, pray, and share our lives together.

Newcomer's Supper

Each month we have newcomer's supper on Monday nights. It's an informal and casual evening at Connan and Belinda O'Shea's home where you will have opportunity to meet the O'Shea family and other newcomers, and find out more about Northern Lakes, what we believe and where we are going.
