The New Testament teaches us to give joyfully, generously and regularly so that Christ can grow his Kingdom.
There are three methods of giving in order of preference below. It is also preferable for the first two that the payments be monthly as this reduces administration (multiply the weekly amount by 4.3 to get the monthly amount).
- Direct Deposit: Internet banking allows you to set up automatic weekly/monthly or one off payments to the Northern Lakes bank accounts. Ensure the “Payee” name is Northern Lakes EC and use the appropriate account (below). It is best if you (the payer) use a false payer name, so the payments remain anonymous to the 3 people who do the Church accounting. The money will be deducted from your account each month.
- Red Giving Boxes (Cash): Money placed directly in the red giving boxes will go to General Giving. If you would like to give to anything else please use the envelopes beside the boxes (or take some home) and specify on the envelope where you’d like the money to go.
